English Jabirus & Jaguars
The Pantanal has the greatest concentration of wildlife anywhere in Latin America. While few endemic species exist in the Pantanal Wetlands, it should still be on every birder's short list of destinations in South America. While it is possible to focus entirely on birds, this tour offers the chance to see the largest Feline in the Americas, the mighty Jaguar, while not losing focus on your feathered friends.
The Jaburu is the symbol of the Pantanal, and rightly so, it is the largest of the largest of the three stork species that you will encounter in the Brazilian Pantanal.
